Samsung Galaxy A42 5G Black

Samsung presented the Galaxy A42 on 9 October 2020 as the successor to the popular A41. The A42 is a powerful mid-range phone that includes 5G internet and a large 5000mAh battery with 15W quick charging. There are also four cameras on the back and the device has a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display.

This Samsung smartphone has been released in the colours Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White, and Prism Dot Gray. Besides that, the Galaxy A42 supports dual SIM and has 128GB worth of storage space, 4GB RAM, a 5000mAh battery with 15W quick charging, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio port.

Large 6.6-inch display for stunning images

The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a large 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen. The bezels are narrow, which means the front is largely made up out of screen. Thanks to AMOLED, colours are vivid and they burst off the screen. So, you can enjoy your favourite Neftlix show, or a game, to the fullest.

Four cameras on the back

When it comes to photography, the Samsung A42 gives you plenty of options. For example, you can take your normal, high-quality photos and videos with the primary 48-megapixel camera. And for large landscapes or group photos, use the 8-megapixel camera with ultra-wide-angle lens. This lens has a wider viewing angle.

The 5-megapixel camera with depth of field sensor lets you take beautiful portraits with a depth of field effect. It keeps your subject in focus while the background becomes blurred. And for sharp close-ups of plants and small animals, use the 5-megapixel camera with macro lens.

Large battery with 15W quick charging

The Galaxy A42 has a large 5000mAh battery and supports Samsung Quick Charging. You don't have to worry about an empty battery and slow charging. Quick charging is possible with a maximum capacity of 15W so that you quickly have a full battery again.

Dual SIM: space for two SIM cards

A handy feature of the Samsung Galaxy A42 is dual SIM. This means that you can place two SIM cards at the same time. This way you're using one device to be reached on two numbers. When using a second SIM card, you cannot insert a memory card.

128GB expandable storage space

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A42 5G with 128GB of storage space for apps, games, photos, and videos. The operating system takes up a small part of this. If there is not enough storage space, you can expand the storage with a microSD card. It is then not possible to insert a second SIM card.
