Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Duos

On their own Unpacked event, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 9 on 9 August 2018. The device is a combination of the Note 8 and the Galaxy S9+ with its own twist. Thanks to the renewed S Pen, you can use various new functions.

The phone is available is black, blue, copper, and purple, and it features a large Infinity Display with an AMOLED panel with a high resolution. This combination makes this device perfect for checking out texts, webpages, photos, and films. The Note 9 comes equipped with high-end hardware and the latest features.

Renewed stylus with extra options

This Note 9 also comes with a stylus, called an S Pen by Samsung. The Note 9 variant comes with Bluetooth, so you can use the pen as presenter during presentations or to snap photos. Of course, you can still take notes or edit photos with the stylus.

Dual camera we've seen before

Samsung has fitted the back of the Note 9 with a dual camera, and the used technology was previously used in the Galaxy S9+. This means that you can capture perfect photos and play around with the aperture. Even in less than optimal lighting conditions, photos will always look good.

You can record videos in a high 4K resolution with optical image stabilisation, so all your videos will look good too. You can take portrait photos and play with all kinds of settings and filters. On the front, you'll find a good selfie camera that shoots the best selfies and can be used to make video calls.

Samsung produces their own displays that are used in smartphones and they're one of the best! The large, 6.4-inch Infinity Display is a perfect screen for enjoying content, thanks to its high resolution and the choice for AMOLED. Powerful Samsung processor

Samsung not only produced the display, they also make processors, and you'll find the Exynos 9810 under the hood of this Note 9. This chipset was introduced in the Galaxy S9 and S9+, and has proven itself time and again. Besides power, this processor also delivers in terms of battery life.

The manufacturer also opted to fit the Note 9 with a battery of 4000mAh. This means that you can easily get through the day, doing whatever you want. The phone supports fast charging and wireless charging.

Lots of expandable storage space

The Note 9 is available in variants with 128GB and 512GB of internal storage, and the latter is only available in black. You can use a memory card to greatly expand the storage space if you need more room.

Many types of security

The Note 9 is also well-equipped in terms of security, as there's a fingerprint scanner on the back as well as face recognition. This uses the front camera, and you only need to look at it to access your phone. You can also go with the well-known iris scanner.

Water and dust resistant

The device comes with an IP68 rating, meaning it's fully dust and water resistant. Of course, we don't recommend taking the phone for a swim, but you can make a call in the rain or rinse the phone under the tap. Dust can't enter the phone either, so it won't pile up on the inside.

The manufacturer is known for their skin that covers Android and it's once again present in this Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Out of the box, the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, and you'll find various Samsung apps, including special features to make the most out of the S Pen.
